no, it's set to 0.0.0.0, but before openvpn starts, the ipconfig info for
the adapter says unplugged, check cable etc, so openvpn is definately doing
something, as after openvpn has started ipconfig reports the ip address,
netmask etc. which is not displayed before

hmm, well the only other command (except for pause) is the route add
command.
