I have setup a bridged connection using the guide. The two linux gateways
have established a vpn connection over the internet but i can't seem to get
anything through it. I'm using shorewall, but pretty much all the policies
are open right now. One thing that i see i am doing different is that i
have two different ip setups on the two networks. one is 192.168.7.0 and
the other is 192.168.1.0. Now, on the br0 for each server, and on the
clients i set a class b subnet mask so i figured this setup would be ok. Is
it? What else could be wrong? Also, when i try to ping 192.168.1.88 from my computer 192.168.7.63 i get this message in /var/log/messages Sep 6 12:01:08 Zadok kernel: Shorewall:FORWARD:ACCEPT:IN=br0 OUT=br0 SRC=192.168.7.63 DST=192.168.1.88 LEN=84 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=63 ID=23315 DF PROTO=ICMP TYPE=8 CODE=0 ID=46864 SEQ=1056 _________________________________________________________________ Try MSN Messenger 6.0 with integrated webcam functionality! http://www.msnmessenger-download.com/tracking/reach_webcam
