[Openvpn-users] "Authenticate/Decrypt packet error: packet HMAC authentication failed"

I'm running tunnels to three Windows XP-based tablets (running OpenVPN
1.5-beta7) off a single host (running OpenVPN 1.4.3), using identical
configurations except for IPs and port numbers. Two of them work, one of
them doesn't. The failing connection spits out a great many copies of
the following message on the side of the (1.4.3-based) server:

Authenticate/Decrypt packet error: packet HMAC authentication failed

Any ideas with regard to what might be causing this? Running openvpn
with --test-crypto and the in-use key results in no errors; I'm using
"tun-mtu 1500" and "tun-mtu-extra 64" on the side of the server running
1.4.3 per documentation; I've triple-checked the IP addresses and port
numbers on either side... and I'm otherwise a bit stumped.

Thanks!
