Hi list! I reached to connect a FreeBSD (server) with a XP (client). It was pretty easy to realize (compared with pptpd; a gave it up). But, there are a few strange problems: The network on the tap-device is 10.1.0.0/24 and the net with the targethosts is 192.168.1.0/24. I have set up routing and I can ping each other and to a host (192.168.1.10). I can see the connection (openvpn-deamon-messages and ifconfig tap0). I can access a Win-share, but neither vnc nor the Terminalserver. Another thing is that the option --proto tcp-server (or udp) is not understood by openvpn. Not in the configfile, not as an commandline-option. Why? My configs: /etc/openvpn/static-office.conf #openvpn office (=server) with pre-shared static key # #tap dev tap #up-script up /etc/openvpn/office.up #key secret /etc/openvpn/static.key #proto udp #port port 5000 #lzo-compression comp-lzo #statefull fw, connection-loss #ping 15 #ping restart 45 #ping timer-rem #persist-tun #persist-key #verbosity (0=quiet;9=max) verb 3 I can't get the XP-config, cause the laptop is not available. But compression works as well as encryption with the static.key. Firewalling is of (means everything is passed) for testing and I had a direct connect to the i-net with the XP-Laptop. Help and hints are very appreciated! Thx, h. __________________________________________________ Verpassen Sie keine eBay-Auktion und bieten Sie bequem und schnell über das Telefon mit http://www.telefonbieten.de Ihre eMails auf dem Handy lesen - ohne Zeitverlust - 24h/Tag eMail, FAX, SMS, VoiceMail mit http://www.directbox.com ____________________________________________ Openvpn-users mailing list Openvpn-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-users |
