This could be a workaround:
Not sure, but you can try "chmod a-rx /etc/resolv.conf"

My guess is you'll receive a "permission denied" message and that's all.
But if it doesn't works, you can restore your permisson in that file with
"chmod 644 /etc/resolv.conf"
