Anyone interested in a hacked version of OpenVPN which supports ZLIB ( or libz ) ?

The comp-lzo is still there but in additional, it can be
invoked this way :-

openvpn ..... --comp-libz [n]

where n is optional, 1-9 which is the compression level
of zlib.

what would the benefit be? is libz faster than lzo? does it compress any better?
is it supported on as many platforms ?
