[1.0-beta17 2004-09-02]
Hi Mathias,
When I try to start 1.0b17, I get a pop up that tells
me it can not figure out what revision of Open VPN (2.0b11)
that I am running. The machine in question is XP-P, SP1a
and OpenVPN is running as a service. :-(
Hi! I was notified of this by on other user yesterday, so I'm working on
it. It only happends on some machines though.
Have you used an older version of OpenVPN GUI on the same machine?
I had 2.0B10 installed at one time, but I did a full remove
before I installed B11.
Did you use my installation package, or have you installed OpenVPN
seperatetly?
I downloaded Open VPN from the web site. I am not sure
which one you are talking about, but it was called:
openvpn-2.0_beta11-install.exe
Please try to run this version and let me know exactly what it says:
http://www.nilings.se/openvpn/files/binary/openvpn-gui-1.0-beta17-debug1.exe
I will be at the customer's site on Thursday. I will give it a shot and
get back to you. If it helps, beta16 works fine, which the exception
that it is unaware of OpenVPN running as a service.
