Any installation of a driver not digitally signed by Microsoft does that.

Nope.

You want to pay for it? IIRC, the cost is about $3K (presuming it passes
on the first round of testing, more otherwise) -- and it'll need to be
paid again if the driver is ever changed. I'm not putting up that money,
and we can't reasonably ask James to either.
