[Openvpn-users] are source and destination port the same?

Hi All,

    Under iptables, is OpenVPN's source and destination port
the same?  Or, is the source port in the random "unassigned"
range?

    --sport 5000        --dport 5000        or
    --sport 1024:65535  --dport 5000
