Ok, I think I solved the connection reset problems, using
all the same subnets. I’ve made changes, and understand the theory of
different subnets, but now I need to apply it practically. I have a persistent
connection now, but can’t really do anything with it.

How do I set up server.conf to
route this properly? Do I need to set up routes in the OS also, or will openvpn take care of routing? What do I need to configure to make
Windows shares?
I know these are academic and rudimentary, and I appreciate
your patience and information.
Thanks,
