Hi,
I just upgraded to OpenVPN 2.0.5 on Debian. The upgrades on the endpoint boxes
(both Debian/sid laptops) went fine, restart was fine etc. But when I
upgraded on my firewall at home, the process stopped and restarted openvpn,
and as soon as the key exchange occurs, openvpn dies. I had the same symptoms
with 2.0.4-1. I attempted it three times, each time, the laptop would
display VERIFY OK: depth=1, and the cert information, but then it would
hang. Logged into the server box, I would check the openvpn process, and it
would be gone. My logs indicate
crazyhorse ovpn-crazyhorse[19260]: 206.66.146.23:42181 TLS_ERROR
: BIO read tls_read_plaintext error: error:140D108E:SSL
routines:TLS1_CHANGE_CIPHER_STATE:compression library error
Versions of lzo are the same on both ends, 1.08-2. ideas? For the time being I
went back to 2.0.2 until I can figure this out.
