The original question was about OpenVPN and daylight savings
changes. If your hardware clock is set to UTC and your Timezone
is set correctly and you are running ntpd, when daylight savings
happens nothing to the hardware clock at all. It hasn't changed at all. All of the discussion about how ntpd slews the system time is noeat but moot. |
