i've been debugging a network problem for some time now and i think i've narrowed it down to a machine running an ovpn 1.6.0 bridge, it's winxp pro. i use this machine to host a vpn for a small lan. there are 3-5 remote users. what i've noticed, and i don't think it corresponds to legitimate vpn traffic, is the following: our network will lock up (it seems the switch floods the router's lan interface, and locks everything for a minute or two), i can isolate the port on my switch responsible for this burst/flood (and i am pretty sure it's the one running ovpn). are there any known issues? i saw a possible vulnerability, and also a linux user with a similar issue: http://openvpn.net/archive/openvpn-users/2004-02/msg00186.html http://www.vuxml.org/freebsd/1986449a-8b74-40fa-b7cc-0d8def8aad65.html am i running into any of the above? any fixes? is this fixed in a newer release? might my nic be bad? thanks!! ____________________________________________ Openvpn-users mailing list Openvpn-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-users |
