Hi.

I have just set up a OpenVPN Server (W2k3-Server) and a Client running
xp.
After struggling with the configs and routes I am now able to ping from
the client to the server. My big problem now is, that I am not able to
ping from the server to the client. Firewall is off.

client or server firewall? Check the routing table. Use a packet sniffer to see where the packets are, meaning do they leave the right net card interface? eth0? tun0? Do they enter through the right one?

Hello Jon,

I have tried turning off both firewalls. Right now they are turned
on again (with the proper holes of course). The routing tables also
seems to be OK (see below). Do you see anything wrong in the configs?

No i did not see anyhting in the configs, but i wonder a bit why there are
4 lines with 255.255.255.255 in the bottom of the routing table

Anyway, try using a network sniffer and follow the packets.

JonB
