I'm on winXP-SP2.

I'm running OpenVPN to connect to my LAN while on the run.

I strongly feel that the best defence is to have none of the vulnerable
traffic at all.
In UNIX world all (knowledgeable) admins stop the unnesessary services,
why should I leave all the bloatware running just because B.G. decided it
may someday happen to be of any use to someone somewhere?!
Currently my "netstat -an" returns just the 123rd UDP port listening -
because I have NTP v4.2 running...
So, even without any firewall I'm sure I'm well protected.

I'd like to hear about "cons" of using NetBEUI and "pros" of using NETBIOS.

Tony.
