Re: [Openvpn-users] WinXPPro freezing

We have several new Lenovo machines; two X60's, two T60's and three T60p's with OpenVPN 2.0.5 and Mathias's GUI on it. They've been running for approximately two months now. All run XP ProSP2 and with all latest MS updates. All of them work flawlessly with OpenVPN.

Subject: [Openvpn-users] WinXPPro freezing

Stumbled into a problem that I can't seem to work thru:
I have several Windows workstations (and some linux) installed with OpenVPN versions 2.0.3-2.0.5, which connect to my Linux VPN server running 2.0.5. Working fine for years now (since version 1.6...).  I usually use Mathias's installer with the GUI.

Now I'm setting up a new Lenovo T60p laptop, with the same config as all the others.  I can start up the VPN, and get to the resources on the remote network as expected, but after some short time period, about 10-20 minutes (always less than 45 min., sometimes < 5min.) the laptop just freezes up. No ctrl-alt-del, nothing but a hard reset to reboot. If I don't start openvpn the machine runs fine for hours.
Anyone seen anything like this?

I did run Lenovo's update utility to get all their latest drivers, but the problem persists.

Thanks,
Micha
