I have taken a Linksys NSLU2 (which is a NAS box that can have USB
storage attached) and converted it to Debian Linux (see
http://www.nslu2-linux.org/) and run OpenVPN on it.  This is an ARM
processer running at 266MHz.  The devices are cheap (sub $100 in the
US) and if you are a geek, it is fairly easy to re-flash the Linksys
box to do what you want.

If you have a Linksys 802.11g router, the OpenWRT project has OpenVPN
as a package that can be added.

These both are small and cheap boxes that can provide full OpenVPN
installations with some effort.
