Hi brothers i have running a central oficce with red hat 9 this is my server of openvpn and fouer remote sites running over win2000 clients, by performance problems i wanna change these clients over win2000 to linux fedora core, i use bridge mode, this is my question: in the how-to in home page openvpn (openvpn how-to 2.0) there is this setting "Setting up your own Certificate Authority (CA) and generating certificates and keys for an OpenVPN server and multiple clients" I have these questions: 1.-in these how-to it say me: If you are using Linux, cd to /usr/share/doc/openvpn-2.0 and Next, initialize the PKI. On Linux/BSD/Unix: . ./vars ./clean-all ./build-ca next Generate certificate & key for server Next, we will generate a certificate and private key for the server. On Linux/BSD/Unix: ./build-key-server server "but if I already have my certificate and my keys, it is necessary that it must build these certificate and keys?, can i use the archives that use already in my server and my clients (CA certicate, keys, etc), and if this can be done how can i do? my intention is to have everything in linux, tanks a lot for you help. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Get stuff done quickly with pre-integrated technology to make your job easier _______________________________________________ Openvpn-users mailing list Openvpn-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openvpn-users |
