Thanks for your reply. I agree totally that the error is very obvious and says it all, but I can't seem to figure out why it's telling me this. I created the certificates using the utility included in OpenVPN (I guess it uses OpenSSL), and supposedly, it's valid until 2016. How can I determine when it begins to be valid?

That would explain it all wouldn't it?
What is the validity date/time of your certificate?
