[Openvpn-users] CA same on client and server?

Is it required that the CA for the client be the same as the CA for the 
server?

What I want to have is.
client 1 gets crt from CA x.
server gets crt from CA y.

server and client would trust both x.crt and y.crt.

Is this possible?
