Hello folks,

Im using OpenVPN in my FreeBSD server and all is working good.

All X509 certicates is working nice as well, but due my site be an AD
2003 based, I need to authenticate the users against an AD server. (Im
using OpenVPN GUI v1.0.3 on XP clients, BTW)

So, I did a shell script to do this and noticed a strange behavior:

When I pass DOMAIN\USER on the XP client the '\' is replaced by an
'_'. Is my client or my server that are doing this replacement ?

I have about 20 domains and no idea who domain's client is connecting
on. I need this domain information to my script work properly.
Nevertheless , there are various users using strong password with
&,/,\, spaces and other fancy characters. Im wodering if they will
have any problems about.

Any ideas ?

Thanks
