[Openvpn-users] Status 55 and bridged connection under Windows XP

Hi,

Is there any known resolution for status 55 error when trying to run
OpenVPN on bridged connection under Windows XP?

I have two nodes connected point to point, both nodes are Windows XP
boxes, both connected by wireless ethernet. One of the nodes acts as
server with server certs other acts as client.

After bridging both adapters (TAP and wireless) together on both machines
OpenVPN is unable to locate interface index of TAP adapter. It is not
visible under openvpn --show-net whenever it is bridged. When not
brigded - it works ok (I have few OpenVPN configurations for different
purposes none of them for bridged interfaces configuration and those
VPNs work without a problem).

I've tried 2.0.9 version of OpenVPN and 2.1 but with no significant
success, I'm still getting "could not get interface index for
<interface name>" .

Any suggestions?
