[Openvpn-users] problem with tunnelblick on one mac

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] problem with tunnelblick on one mac
  • From: openvpn@xxxxxxxxx
  • Date: Fri, 02 Feb 2007 08:24:31 -0800
  • Priority: normal

Client just got a MacBook Pro (intel based) laptop yesterday, I installed the latest stable version of
tunnelblick, created his keys, set them up on the machine and noticed I couldn't connect, created
new keys, same problem, tried on various different locations and network connections, same
problem. The end of this message has the server side log info. I took another mac with a working
config, copied the openvpn.conf and the crt and key file over to this machine, closed and restated
tunnelblick, same problem. Tried the same with another 3 or 4 working configs from other
machines, both mac and pc and same problem, errors as below particularly

Fri Feb 2 08:02:41 2007 us=725392 firstname_lastname1-lastname2/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:28926
SIGUSR1[soft,connection-reset] received, client-instance restarting
Fri Feb 2 08:02:41 2007 us=725931 TCP/UDP: Closing socket

If I repeatedly click on TunnelBlick after doing a connect, I see waiting for daemon proccess, then
authorizing, then disconnected.

Googling shows others with this problem, but no solution. Again all other machines (about 1/2
dozen) work fine for vpn, linux, windows and mac osx 10.4.8. The problem machine is fully
updated. Suggestions?

Logs from server, indentifying info removed.
