[Openvpn-users] TAP-WIN64 for VISTA

I am trying very hard to find a version of OPEN VPN to use on VISTA - 64 bit. I can't find any version of the tap driver that works with the 64 bit full retail release of Vista. I have tried the TAP-WIN64 driver that has been posted for Windows XP 64 and the 64 instaltion packages that choose the 32 or 64 but none of them work on VISTA 64 bit.

 

Does anyone have any insite or ideas about how to get a TAP-WIN64 driver working and installed on VISTA 64 bit.

 

I did also see a vista patch version but that seems to be for teh 32-bit version only and does not work on the 64 bit version of windows either , at least i can't seem to make it work.
