[Openvpn-users] Unable to connect client to server on WRT running DD-WRT

  • Subject: [Openvpn-users] Unable to connect client to server on WRT running DD-WRT
  • From: NWTSCL <nwtscl@xxxxxxxxx>

I recently purchased a WRT54GL and installed firmware
DD-WRT v23 SP2 to act as a server for a road warrior
client. I am brand new to this, so I followed the
wiki at dd-wrt.com that discusses how to get OpenVPN
on the router and client. Specifically, I followed
section 1.4 Server Mode with Certificates.

http://dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/OpenVPN#Server_Mode_with_Certificates

Aside from changing the crt/key locations/data and the
remote router-address, I followed these directions to
a T. Yet, my client will not connect. I am given an
error that TLS key negotiation failed to occur within
60 seconds.

Is something missing? Did I not see something?

Thanks.
