Which operating systems can be used to host the Access Server software?


Currently, the Access Server software must be run on a Linux host. The software is released in the form of binary package files for particular Linux distributions.

RPM packages can be ran on both 32-bit and 64-bit of the following systems:

  • CentOS 4
  • CentOS 5
  • Fedora 9
  • Fedora 10
  • RHEL 4
  • RHEL 5
The Deb Packages can be ran on both 32-bit and 64-bit of the following systems:

  • Ubuntu 8
  • Ubuntu 9
  • Ubuntu 10*
  • Debian 4**
  • Debian 5*

* Use the Ubuntu 9 packages for installation on these systems.
** Use Ubuntu 8 packages for installation on this system.
